Definition

[Henderson's] graph illustrating the number of species (plotted on the y-axis) found in a given area (increase in area plotted on the x-axis). The shape of the curve provides information on the species diversity and species richness of an area and is helpful in determining the most efﬁcient size of plot for sampling.
