Definition

[Henderson's] a measure of the amount of body fat for humans, calculated from the body weight (in kilograms) divided by the height (in metres) squared. “Normal” values for adults range from 18.5 to 24.9, with a value of greater than 30 being classiﬁed as clinical obesity.
