Definition
- Composition of the vegetation layer in an area. The vegetation layers is the plant cover of an area. There could be different vegetation layers in an ecosystem (e.g. moss-, herb-, understory-, tree-layer). The composition of vegetation layer can be generic (e.g. the presence and name of different layers) or specific (e.g. the species composition of a layer down to the taxonomical definitions
