Definition
- Position of deadwood in forest, in terms of location (mapping). Deadwood is made up by dead branches, dead stems, stump remnants or dead trees (complete). The volume or biomass of deadwood in a forest is taken as an estimate of the suitability of that forest to host hifgher biodiversity of saproxilic fauna (fauna that lives on dead matter)
